Serve LA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap and providing essential support to the marginalized communities in Los Angeles. With a vision of guiding individuals from suffering to flourishing, Serve LA focuses on offering meals, recovery assistance, and holistic support to those in need. Our goal we as to not only elevate their brand and legitimacy online, but we overhauled the ways and opportunities for people to get involved – by streamlining the process and eliminating hurdles for their audience.
PROBLEM
The problem Serve LA faced was an outdated website that failed to effectively cultivate their brand, lacked clear messaging and call-to-actions (CTAs), and did not adequately educate visitors on the impact of their mission. Despite their significant community impact, their online presence and trust equity did not align with the scope of their work. The website failed to guide visitors towards clear and specific calls to action, making it challenging for individuals to get involved or support their cause online.
SOLUTION
To address these challenges, we embarked on a comprehensive website redesign project aimed at revamping their online presence and enhancing user engagement.
Our focus was on cultivating a strong brand identity, delivering clear messaging, and implementing easy-to-find calls-to-action (CTAs) to increase visitor interaction. Through strategic content development, including impactful storytelling and visual media, we aimed to educate visitors about the significant impact of their mission in the community. Additionally, we prioritized user experience, ensuring that individuals could easily navigate the site to find ways to get involved and support our cause.
By implementing these changes, we aimed to bridge the gap between their offline impact and online representation, thereby strengthening their ability to connect with and serve the Los Angeles community effectively.
